Twelfth Division - Research and Development Institute

The scientific division contains some of the most vast facilities and staff in order to contain the massive amounts of technology and research being conducted within. Behind nearly all the devices found throughout Soul Society they also run many of the vital functions through special labs such as the Spiritual Wave Measurement Lab to monitor arrancar movements and the Communication Technology Research Department responsible for communication between both the divisions and realms.
