Okay, so canonically everyone and their cat has or has had a running participation in the content of the Seireitei Communication. I thought that this might be a fun writing exercise to get inside our characters heads and play with the stuff all up inside there.
The basic premise is to write an article, column or serial novel which could conceivably have been penned by your charrie. I dunno whether or not the members and staff would like to bump this up to a contest, but if so we could run and judge it alongside COTM and MOTM.
Post your thoughts 'n' input down there vvv
If we do end up making this a competition then we'll be needing judges. Feel free to volunteer now.
If you've already got an idea of what you might want to do then follow the template below. (This is an IC template for our 'contents.')
As an example, feast your eyes on:
ENRAI MONOGATARI (THE TALE OF ENRAI) by Kuwabara Kiyoshi
Type: Serial Novel
Blurb: Enrai is a spirit of lightning, living happily with his close companions the wind and rain spirits. As a spirit of the Heavens he is charged never to set foot on the mortal plane, but overflowing with youthful curiosity he goes down to inspect the material realm under cover of a fierce storm. There he finds a samurai sleeping beneath a tree. Upon trying to greet the man he is cut down due to his strange and frightening visage. He awakes bound in mortal form, banished from the Heavens for his transgression and travels across feudal Japan. Slaying monsters and saving mortals, Enrai continually searches for any news of the mysterious samurai so that he might be able to find a way home. A story of regret, revenge and perhaps even redemption, Enrai Monogatari simply demands to be read.
We'll set a date, some actual rules and maybe a max word count for submissions later on assuming that we're gonna run this competitively, for now let your imaginations run wild.
