Morei wandered around Seireitei after visiting his father and getting no answers, and letting his little sister know that Izanami-Taichou would try and make time to visit her in the next few days, contemplating on how to figure out exactly what all the higher-ups were so worried about. But he decided not to worry about it himself, and let them tell him when the time came.
But in order to attempt to facilitate some kind of calm, he decided to venture back into the offices, and see if there was any way he could help out with things to free up the Fuku-taichou.
Stopping at the doorway, he knocked firmly, and called out. "Fuku-Taichou? It's me, Morei. If you have a moment, I'd like to speak with you," he said calmly, making sure she could hear him through the door.

"Huh?" Taiyou mumered vaguelly as someone knocked her door. My notes! "Gimme a minute!" she hollared back, quickly stuffing the papers in a drawer. In a way, she was a little ticked off- she was reallly busy, and didn't like much to be interupted. That and, well, she was busy on the wrong thing. The captain and her had recieved the message for the meeting that morning in his office. The silence lingered in the air for a few moments before it was broken with his request that she continue on her regular duties for that day but also do some research on the topic as long as it didn't interfere.
Meaning on her spare time. Taiyou didn't mind much- she figured she'd just have to wait for her breaks and during the night. However, she couldn't help but to jot down a few, abitrary things before Morei dropped by. Most of it wasn't even important- just reminders of things to research. But Taiyou hid it, anyway, though she didn't know why. Was it the importance of the matter or because there were power in secrets?
The woman brushed these thoughs aside as she hastingly opened the door. She looked up at Morei and wrinkled her nose, causing her nose ring to catch some light. "I have a name, you know," she pointed out, pointing to a seat across from her tidy and orderly desk which was oddly furnished with some small - and some even cute- trinkets. She disliked always being called by her title. It was nice, sometimes, but it was so formal. Plus the title was so long, with seemed absurd, as the position was lower than the somewhat shorter Captain position.
"Come in," Taiyou said as she walked back to hers. She practically prounced onto her seat, curling her legs onto the chair so that she was in lotus position, her braid waving gently behind her. "What do you want?"

He stepped in quickly, sliding the door shut behind him as he bowed. "My apologies, Taiyou-sensei," he said, remembering that she preferred to be referred to by name rather than title, but only too late. He settled into the seat, glancing around for a moment.
"I do understand that something is going on with the Gotei Thirteen, and I know there's been a Captain and Lieutenant meeting called, but that's not why I'm here. I know things have probably gotten pretty hectic for you and the Taichou, so I'm here to ask if there's anything I can do to help, to slow things up and free up a little of your time for you," he said respectfully.
He himself was seated comfortably, leaned back in the chair slightly with his hands draped on the arms, not getting quite so comfortable as she was. "I'm not asking for any information I'm not supposed to be privy to, but I've watched as things have gotten more and more hectic with things going crazy in the human world. I just want to help in any way I can," he said firmly.

Taiyou shrugged at the name 'sensei.' Better; at least he had used her first name and had sat down alright. He wasn't as stiff as some others had been, which was a good thing. Their division had to be able to work together as a group, and Taiyou believed that too many formalities built unnecessary boundaries. A first name basis was a good start.
She leaned backed in her seat as Morei explained his predicament and smiled. He was a nice guy, and a hard worker. The woman appreciated that, though she honestly would expect nothing less. She was about to pipe up but then he said something else which surprised her. He wasn't going to ask? Taiyou stared at the third seat blankly for a moment. "Whow, you for real?" she muttered, impressed. Had it been her, she'd have start asking questions and snooping around right off the bat.
Still, it's not really my place to disclose such information yet, is it? Taiyou thought as she scratched the back of her head. "Thank you," she said, giving him a broad grin before shifting her attention towards the ceiling. "Damn. If it were up to me, I'd have no problem telling you now, but I don't think it's my position to. Don't think." That's not being hypocritical, is it? she wondered, fearfully. The last thing the woman wanted to be was a hypocrite. She wrinkled her nose as she turned her attention back towards Morei, and picked up a pencil. The woman pointed it at him.
"I promise I'll get back to you and the others after the meeting, though," Taiyou continued, somberly, "Y'all don't deserve to be kept in the dark." She paused, looking over at the stack of paperwork, suddenly getting a mischievous gleam in her eye. "Now what to give you..." she said in a sing song voice. It wouldn't really be fair to give him some of the documents she had to fill out, but she did have things she needed to deliver... The woman beamed. "You can be my errand boy!" she delightfully declared, rummaging through her desk for decent envelops and folders as well as the proper documents that needed to be delivered.
She continued to speak as she quickly got back to work, takign her notes and dumping it in a drawer. "Right, these memos need to be handed towards the seated officers," she said, giving him a small stack of papers with some dates and notes. "These needs to be handed into Taichou...Oh, crap!" she cursed, quickly signing one that she had neglected. Satisfied with her work, Taiyou stacked an envelope, a folder, and the paper in a small pile, and handed that to the noble, as well.
"Um, that's it," she said, cheerfully. "After you're done with all that, instruct the squads to start training, won't cha? That's it, really...Get yours somewhere quiet and meditate for at least half an hour before going through routine. I'll be out there later."
Taiyou waved arbitrarily towards the papers she still had to work on. "Or you can do my job and I can do yours," she said, jokingly. She wouldn't let him do it, anyway, even if he offered.
