Rules & Site Philosophy of Bleached Soul (It is extremely important to read this thread first.)

Appearance: (Use the bullet point system explained here.)
Personality: (Use the bullet point system explained here. This is the most important part of your application. Here is your chance to play psychologist and the qualities here should reflect your history. Every aspect of your character should have a reason behind it. Minimum of three paragraphs. I've found in the past it has helped members add depth to their characters and make a more realistic individual by using the Myers-Briggs Personality Test. Remember to answer as your character would, not as yourself. After you have the result you can read about your type here. At the bottom of the page for each type you can also find a link which looks like a tree labeled personal growth which will give you information on strengths and weaknesses. If your result doesn't seem to fit, look at the percentage you ranked in each of the four category and if one is borderline then switch the letters. Example, you got ESFP with Extroverted (E) 51.00% Introverted (I) 49.00%, then look at ISFP. Also other possibly more accurate versions of the test can be found with a search or you can ask me. If you are curious to learn more about how this test works, what each letter means, and how they interconnect, the wiki article can help.)
Strengths: (Use the bullet point system explained here. The dynamics to your character in both personality and combat ability. Remember this should reflect your stats.)
Weaknesses: (Use the bullet point system explained here. Everyone has them, in various areas. Include both personality and combat ability. Remember this should reflect your stats.)
Beliefs: (List three or more beliefs which compose your characters worldview. For example, one can only trust themselves. The purpose behind this is to try and make character development where you have one event which confirms this belief and one event which contradicts it. To use the above example, in one thread they learn they can trust a teammate and then in another are betrayed. As always you can look to completed applications or ask others for help with ideas. More explanation and an example can be found here.)
Goals: (List three or more goals your character is pursuing. One should be a short term, mid-term, and long term. These should NOT be the same as everyone else or be things they will always continually do. For example, protect my friends or become stronger will not work. While your character may not know now how to accomplish the task, you the writer should have a step by step plot to accomplish them. The purpose behind this is to make you think about your character's personal motivations and give you something to work for in future threads instead of punching a tree training or standing around talking about yourself with the thread going nowhere. When you have accomplished a task, simply make a thread in the open applications sub-forum with a new task and we will copy/paste the changes. You can find some explanation about this system here.)
Technique Name: (Simply the name of your ability. Please provide spanish as well as english. If you need help contact one of the staff for assistance with a translation.)
Technique Category: (How abilities work!)
Technique Range: (How abilities work!)
Technique Description: (Describe the abilities granted by your signature skill, no more than two. Repeat these four sections as needed. Minimum of one paragraph per ability. Please understand! If you have one extremely powerful ability, we cannot then give you more. If you have multiple that add up to covering all areas of expertise, we can't give you more! If you start with a single ability, then your first objective can be to gain a new technique! It makes for much better storytelling that you leave your character room to grow and gain new abilities rather than maxing them out right at the beginning.)
History: (Use the timeline system explained here. Describe the past life of your character, how they died, how they became a hollow and how they have reached where they are now. While this needs to be comprehensive, it does not need to be lengthy. This should demonstrate important moments in your life which has helped to develop your personality and the person you are today.)
RP Sample: (Now you have two options here. Give us a common example of your posts, not something elaborate. Some use their first future post here. Or the more preferred route would be that you skip this and we instead will partially approve you without a rank. You instead make a thread, in the forum named Turn Back the Pendulum, which is set in your character's past at a lower rank. Perhaps an important moment in their life. Involve other members in this thread. This will give us a far more accurate sense of your character and style, letting us access your desired rank far better than an rp sample.)
Final Acceptance: Read the rules!!!! You have one more step to complete before you are able to post on the site.
