Every arrancar still bears three marks that designate who they are. The first of which is the fragments of the mask they have ripped off and abandoned in favor of power. Secondly they all bear the mark of the hollow hole to represent the part of them that is missing. Finally they are all marked with a number designating their position in the ranks of the forces of Las Noches.
-Espada
The sword of Las Noches these are the ten strongest arrancar within the expanse of Hueco Mundo. Beginning with a tribal sort of society, they have a form a might makes right mentality and the strongest leads all others. Entering into this group is simply a matter of killing the individual occupying the desired positon, not the most moral of options, nor the simplest. As well as the benefits of command over fraccion these Espada have a chance to access special techniques.
-Privaron Espada
Labeled with numbers of one hundred and one through one ten. These represent the occupation they used to occupy and these tend to be of the older crowd who have been beaten by the younger generations. This however by no means they are weak, simply those with their pride beaten. Given their own wing of Las Noches they rule in an almost separate structure from the rest of the group.
-Fraccion
The loyal followers to one of the Espada, these individuals have set aside their pride or desire for position to instead learn from a infamous individual. Forming a sort of pack mentality these groups can range from the extremely weak up to nearly as strong as those they serve. To many toss aside this opportunity seeing as one who serves must be weak when it is in fact the opposite. They are all the stronger for the experience.
-Exequias
A special small group of arrancar who have instead chosen to pursue the art of execution. Though largely this means even finishing off their own soldiers in the name of preserving pride and structure. It is this dog eat dog mentality that is projected through all organized arrancar groups, but however is amplified in the cold calculating position of the funeral squad. The job is occupied by individuals of largely varied strength, however the experience offers little opportunity for real combat or growth when one is simply finishing off another predator's prey.

The extremely varied group of soldiers that make up a group much like that of the seated shinigami. These are numbered from eleven to ninety-nine, but not in strength like the Espada. Instead in a very tricky manner this reveals one's true age as older arrancar have lower numbers. This does mean this individual like has a good deal of experience in combat, however has been struck by age. With every generation becoming more powerful than last it would seem those arrancar with higher numbers win out through superior evolution, though with the disadvantage of limited age and savvy.
