-A Brief Hollow Evolution Summary-
The life of a hollow is a very tortured one from the start. Likely some experience in their life has led them to great anger or sorry that they then carry onto this next life tainted. Growing a unforgettable hunger, they then feed upon the innocents becoming clearly a villainous individual. Gradually though some struggle and out of an ocean one creates a small thought. Eventually ripping off their mask of mediocrity, they stand up as a unique individual. Despite this sordid past of hunger, cannibalism, and murder, few arrancar view themselves as evil. Rather most view this simply as the life they have been force into, dealing with the hand they have been dealt. Rather such hostility from the word created them and they respond back with the same hostility in order to survive. These arrancar eventually formed lose groups through learning to tear off their masks. Gathering together in a group of constant infighting that give them the strength to face the world, these ambitious arrancar created the fortress of Los Noches.
-DemiHollow-
Usually a person with many transgressions or extreme depression, however even a seemingly normal person can be afflicted with poor luck. The first step in this process is that of a demi-hollow or one being gradually transformed. With the chain to their soul rapidly reaching an end, the individual becomes tethered to that which they consider their territory.
-Hollow-
These exist as the antithesis to the healthy spirit, a plus. Growing a hunger for spirits they feed upon the plus and other hollow in order to gain power and satiate a never ending drive. This is where several grow adaptations or abilities in order to survive that can even be seen to improve in later evolution. These later evolutions are all within a class galled Menos, with three subcategories.
-Gillian-
A class within menos which share a very similar appearance, lacking both intelligence and agility with a small individual being two stories tall. Some can grow to skyscraper heights being much more tough than your average and dubbed a Menos Grade. In a way they are the mindless foot soldiers of the hollow, but many can be too preoccupied with hunger to follow commands. While the vast majority are mindless, occasionally one may retain a personality though still incredibly animalistic. If they continue to devour an immense amount of souls, it is possible for them to begin to develop more sophisticated thoughts and their own unique mask, the beginning of a great evolution.
-Adjucha-
With an extremely large amount of individually each one varies based on the personality of the user. These can then range from very large to very small and have a tendency to look animalistic in nature. With an even greater hunger they must feed to continue holding onto their own mind and personality. Should they stop they will revert back into a gillian and be stuck into that form. As well if they are partly eaten at this phase they will then not be able to ever progress to the next stage. They can still however undergo shinigami-ka.
-Vastro Lorde-
The final stage of the evolutionary line these are known to be extremely powerful beyond any of the other stages. The population is extremely rare and only known to exist in the deepest parts of Hueco Mundo. Beyond this nothing is known about the requirements to become one or the power they possess.
