Appearance:
Society has a common standard for everything, a myth about how people should act, should appear, and should dream. Unfortunately for Fernando, he doesn't fit into any of those standards. His lack of grace and etiquette are a result of his size and general personality. While he is just as smart as the next human, what he really has is strength and physical power. His proportions are extremely uncommon among humans, peaking at seven feet and four inches tall and weighing at three hundred forty pounds. While this is a lovely genetic gift, it fits a standard that was around before men had invented laws. It can easily be assumed that Fernando isn't a delicate flower blossoming in the sun; he is in fact a fully grown sequoia tree, blocking out the sun for the minuscule flowers below. His weight, placing him at the start of obese according to his BMI, is misleading because he boasts a monstrous set of muscles hidden underneath those cushioning layers of body fat. As unhealthy as it is for him to have a lot of body fat aside from the muscles, Fernando's eating habits prevent him from losing that part of his appearance. His unnatural hunger is close to one of a whale. Bullies from long ago teased him about his weight. They would call him Giant Pig because his tall structure was inflated with much more chubbiness. Since his days in middle school (hell as he would say) he increased his exercising schedule (although his appetite has only increased along with it).
Starting from the top of his appearance, Fernando is a man with a messy head of hair with facial hair to go with it. His light brown, teddy bear-mop style, hair flows in a dissonance of movement. It is long for a boy's standards, covering his ears but not yet long enough to cover his youthful face and neck. That is party due to the fact that his hair is almost flame like and spikes upward rather than fall downward. His side burns cover the sides of his chin but a gap is left between a short goatee on both sides of his chin. In one of his outfits he wears a black headband bearing a red circle in the center. With the red circle positioned on his forehead, tied so that the circle only shows a hemisphere, his hair bangs fit right underneath to cover the area between his dark eyebrows. He has and usually wears a large open smile on his face. The plumpness of his face shows off his round cheeks and does well to prevent wrinkles. His nose is very plump and is a light rose red color on the bulb. That aforementioned smile contains two large teeth long enough to appear like tusks on the jaw, yet these are indeed natural for him. (Teething as a baby was a nightmare if you can imagine that, as well as when his baby teeth fell out!) From the side his profile appears to be much different than normal. His nose is rounder and the pinch of skin between his nostrils is wider and though that pushes the point of the nose and the bulb just a little higher. Usually this makes him look like he's got a enlarged snout-like nose. This isn't terribly ugly or intimidating, in fact it was cute when he was a young child and the looks has grown more into a handsome and manly look. From the head to the torso the neck is thick and round, having a wide base on the shoulders. His shoulder span isn't wide, as his height makes him appear to have a thinner frame around the shoulders. His chest shares this characteristic as well, around the pecks having more muscle tissue than fat.
The matter is reversed at the waistline and stomach. His round belly curves out a little further than his waistline but both are still substantial compared to humans of normal height. The skin around the stomach isn't stretched nor does it show any stretch marks. This is because Fernando grew up proportionally wider than he is now. The skin around that part of his body has matured to stretch more than it needs so it's still smooth. (Provided that Fernando doesn't stop exercising his waist will stay about the same.) If looking at his back one can tell he's doesn't have such a pronounced bottom as one would think based on his weight. His thighs and bottom match this thinner characteristic because they have more muscle than fat. This means he has a lot of leg strength and is a sign of working on a leg press machine. This is true of Fernando's upper arms as those muscles there are not flabby and instead are more solid. In general his muscles lack definition of a body builder but they do match and sometimes exceed strength of toned muscles due to size. At the further end of the body, his calves to his ankles, there is a lot of fat built up there from through his lifespan. It's very usual for an individual to never lose fat around the calves and ankles once it gets there. Those parts of the body don't move as much as the rest or have an opportunity to be exercised as commonly as the rest of the body. Fernando's calves and ankles are still large because he doesn't work those parts of his body. Running would be an effective means of reducing their size but Fernando actually doesn't like to run enough. His stamina is built around using his muscles in his thighs and upper arms instead of moving around. His running speed is really slow which is compiled from his height.
Tallness is actually a fluctuating variable when incorporated into humans and running speed. Genetics dictate height's effect on running speed. Taller individuals are able to sprint short distances much faster than shorter individuals. However, taller people cannot run long distances like shorter people who are engineered to go further using less energy to sustain them. Fernando is obviously very tall. His height works against him in the way that it takes a huge amount of his energy and stamina to jog (let alone sprint). But in comparison to his youth, he can run further than he could before. (This is a matter of distance measured in yards. Fernando wouldn't have been able to run more than a few yards before he collapsed in exhaustion. Now it's about 10 yards until he's winded). A more interesting part of Fernando's anatomy is the area between his forearms and hands. As shown, he has very big wrists and fists. This isn't explainable by medical science as of yet but speculation states that his arm proportions were caused by a different chemical balance near the brain's growth controls. This would also play into his height but because the rest of his body follows standards closer to normal proportions the speculation is not yet provable. His opened hands are wider than his face, about the same size as his chest. As fists they are close to the volume of his head. His wrists are large and down't allow for a lot of freedom for the hands to bend. Normal wrists allow the hands to bend so that the back of the hand is nearly perpendicular to the forearm. Fernando's hands cannot bend that way and instead only bend about 45 degrees backward or forward. Left and right movement is very minimal for regular wrists, having about 30 to 35 degrees in either direction. For Fernando this is about 5 to 10 degrees of movement.
For for Fernando regular activities that involve the hands are limited. Functioning as a normal employee is close to impossible with jobs that involve the use of the hands. His handwriting is very different from most everyone else's. He uses his elbow to create the curves of writing utensils. His writing can appear larger because he needs to use more space or his letters will overlap and become scribbles. His fingers are bigger and puffier than his toes by almost double the size. Thus Fernando has trouble picking up smaller things the are sitting on flat surfaces such sheets of paper. Getting crafty with how he uses his hands is important because so many more jobs are becoming less physical and more computer related. Utilizing keyboards and mouses is not as troubling if he is provided a customized set meant to take his finger strength and allow for his arms to move instead of his wrist. The keyboard would need to have bigger keys and also more space. Fernando has proven that he is capable of typing since his fingers have more movement than his hand. This isn't a guarantee that he can adapt to regular life, but this isn't a declaration disability either. Fernando's increased hand and wrist size provide a sort of cushion against impacts. He is able to strike wide surfaces and feel less pain because the surface area being impacted is much larger than with a regular fist. In the case of exercise, body builders must concentrate on their hands and wrists when holding up weight so that they do not accidentally let go of the bar. Fernando has an advantage there as the bar often completely locked in his hands with no sign of accidentally slipping out. He is aware of the advantage and often makes this an excuse to work out instead of do more difficult tasks like read books, prepare food, or even click buttons on the television remote.
Fernando keeps to a simple look and style of T-shirt, shorts (which might as well be normal pants made to look like shorts), and slip on shoes. His favorite T-shirt is pale orange. The trimming is a golden yellow color. The shirt is xxl but the length is almost not enough as it reaches just beyond his stomach. (This is the problem of clothes for tall individuals.) His shorts just wide enough at size 50 x 30 inches for waist and length respectively. His shorts are dark oranges with seams along the sides and underneath the crotch. At the base of the shorts on both legs is a black pyramid pattern that has 4 triangles with two shared corners at the bottom, making up the trimming at the bottom of the shorts, and a point extending up on the thigh. Between the dark orange of the pants and the black triangle pattern is a yellow strip that appears as a separation between the pattern and base color. His shoes are a whopping size 22 (American standard). They are black low tops with no strings. Instead there is elastic right above the tongue of the shoe. The front is a white material that looks a little bit like 3 forward claws because of the design.
During Halloween Fernando wore a Pokemon Gijinka costume using the Pokemon Emboar as inspiration. He did not make his outfit and instead had help. The costume was made using just a few things: fabric glue; black, orange, and red fur; torn up jacket, yellow fabric; shaped plastic; custom made gloves, a fake tail, and a headband. As shown in the image, Fernando's costume is primarily a jacket torn at the shoulders with added fur and designs. The jacket's sleeves are torn off and worn underneath the sleeves of the orange t-shirt. The sleeves are rolled up to the elbow but this is because they are torn apart. (Fernando can't wear anything long sleeve because his hands cannot fit through he sure can rip the materials to make it fit him.) The Jacket had added black fur at the bottom. It wraps all the way around to cover a belt. There's more black fur wrapped just underneath the arm pits. Between the two rows of fur are yellow designs. The yellow designs are large and take up the left side, right side, and back. The shape is an infinity that doesn't connect from the bottom left to the top right. Instead those two points circle back into the shape like a number 2 on its side. The belt he wears has a plastic piece in that design although it is three dimensional instead of fabric. Attached to the back of the belt is a long tail with a large fuzzy ball and the end of a narrow shaft. The tail swings back and fourth when he walks and it's long enough to hit things behind him if he isn't careful. This outfit was made by Fernando's friend.

Strengths: What drives the strongest aspects of a person? Is it that the best defense to a world full of dangers is a strong offense? For Fernando this has been the situation. Eve since he was a boy he could see ghosts of the dead. As he grew older he came to recognize that some of these ghosts were friendly and many were running from things called Hallows, or demonic creatures that consumed those who could see the ghosts wondering the world. His first encounter coincided with his first time using his fullbring. It was a cold night on Halloween. The air was crisp, an atmosphere of oxygen that was more difficult to breath as each minute grew close to midnight. In his little town Fernando went to the graveyard to visit the spirits. A party was going on near by so the graveyard was only a few yards from the house. Many of the ghosts wondered around, trying to see if Halloween made a difference as to whether humans could see ghosts on that day. They aimlessly wondered in despair as the ignorant humans passed them in the streets. But with so many wondering around Fernando had a hard time keeping away from them. He'd make eye contact and they'd flock to him. As much as he did like to commune with the dead he wanted a night to just let himself have fun instead of worry about the souls of the lost. But as more ghost followed him there came a presence of pressure. The air become even more chill and the smell grew into a foul, decaying-flesh odor. All around him the ghosts fled when the white teeth on a mask appeared in front of Fernando. Its likeness to a beast made it intimidating, the smell, and its loud scream added to that.
Fernando wasn't sure what to do for a moment but knew he could do something to protect himself. When the monster lunged for him he let his arm swing in a flash to push it away. The monster's neck bent backward but it wasn't enough. It got its head turned around and went for another strike. Fernando punched the Hallow right in the face above its teeth. When his knuckles connected with the monster he could feel something, a pinch underneath his skin. He felt a warm tickle on his neck then soon realized that the fur on his costume had transformed into real flames. He tried taking off his jacket as he though he was burning, but instead he realized these flames couldn't hurt him. He looked around and noticed the hallow was gone. Then the monster screeched from above as it tried to attack. Fernando held up his arms and then a warm heat crawled out of his body and then up into his arms. A red light shine appeared and a sphere of color formed just before the Hallow's teeth tried to bite the warm, blood-filled flesh of the human. It couldn't open its mouth wide enough so instead it left a mark on his arm as its body flopped over and fell side up onto the ground. Fernando felt another warm tickle in his throat. He let is climb up and into his mouth. Hot saliva built up on his tongue so he spit it out and much to his surprise fire flashed out and hit the ground just beside the hallow. The monster got up and tried to nip off Fernando's leg. But just before its teeth touch him he bashed it in the head again. This time its white mask broke underneath the pressured of both his arms. He hit it again for a total of five times. He'd noticed that hot pinch underneath his skin left once he'd broken apart the monster's face. It soon evaporated into dust and then crumbled into a fading pile of white powder. He's natural instincts saved him and even though he was born with hands to big and arms to large, he could easily defend himself again monsters of the night. Since Halloween he began to focus on his power. He wore his costume around, although he looked really weird wearing the same thing so often. Eventually he was able to mimic the same warm feeling. He could turn on his power and his costume would make grant him the power of his favorite pokemon. His greatest strength soon became the one weakness he'd always had.
Weaknesses: With his weakness of having a disability in normal society, his one true weakness is shown best when he's fighting. His strength can help him in battle but he lacks the speed the truly be a fierce warrior. Due to his size he has problems with fast paced mobility and can't keep up very well. Along with that he isn't a very good strategist or man for tactics. Her prefers immediate results overlong term benefits, which is pretty bad in most cases like school when he preferred to skip studying and go over to a friend's house. His weaknesses tend to show up when he's required to use his intellect, which is pretty much average intelligence gone untrained. His sense for combat aren't part of his intellect thankfully, but he's going to need people to help him out when confusing mysteries, puzzles, and smart monsters out-think him in the middle of a fight.
Beliefs:
1). Fernando believes he isn't meant to work a desk job.
2). He believes ghost, demons, and monsters are real, but angels are still questionable.
3). Power isn't meant to be a reason for abuse.
Goals:
1). Fernando is working on learning more about people who have special powers like him. He's constantly trying to find people who have abilities but well it's not working out very well.
2). Fernando is working on strengthening himself so that he can fight a lot of hallows at once instead of relying on mysterious people to save him. He already knows that will take a while.
3). A long term goal for him is to become a boxing Champion. This is a long term goal because it's obvious in his career path. He doesn't quiet have his long term plans thought up yet.
Fullbring Name: Emulation
Fullbring Focus: Costume Outfit
Fullbring Type: Armament
Fullbring Description: The fullbring activates and the focus of the fullbring becomes a medium from which the power of Fernando's Emulation ability can exist. Because he only has one outfit it has become his only focus, although with training other focuses are possible. While utilizing his Emboar costume, Fernando's collar of red and and orange fur become real flames, although the flames cannot hurt him, they are bright and warm to the touch. This is the power to emulate the costume's source. His costume is meant to be Emboar the pokemon so Fernando is able to access things of Emboar such as his move-set. The costume's soul acts as a channel for Fernando to release his spiritual energy in the forms of the techniques. There is a catch as each technique can only be used a certain number of times before it must be reset. Currently Fernando is capable of using his fullbring for a duration of 5 posts. To recharge he needs to rest or eat something sizable and full of protein. The wonderful thing about his fullbring is that it's abilities are capable of growth in terms of power. It isn't full realized and is just beginning. Fernando's completed fullbring will manifest under the concept of emulation in which the fake becomes real by empowering representations with spiritual energy.

Technique Description: Spiritual energy is channeled through the costume's soul which empowers that spiritual energy with fire. The power goes back into the body then through the mouth. In the mouth it condenses and then Fernando releases it from his mouth in a shooting attack. The spiritual energy manifests as a small fire ball that is able to leave a burn mark. Only one can be shot at a time but this ability can be used up to 5 times in a thread before the fullbring must be recharged.

Technique Description: The costume's soul acts as a channel for Fernando's spiritual power. It flows from the center of his body in a large flare then swiftly condenses a in a sphere around Fernando. This buffs his defense and allows him to take more blows without having much damage. This can stack up to a number of 6 times before it can not longer stack. It can be used up to 5 times before the fullbring must be recharched. This buff lasts for as long as the fullbring can.

Technique Description: The costume's soul acts as a channel for Fernando's spiritual power. It flows from the center of his body to his arms were warm red light glows around the hands and forearms. His fists are empowered by his spiritual energy, allowing him to preform a rapid thrust with his arms up to 5 times in a single barrage attack. If the first thrust does not hit the opponent the rest will not. What constitutes the success of the attack is rp skill as the players decide how many attacks will actually hit them. Thrusts with this technique are strong enough to break think metal plates and also stone blocks. This can be used up to 5 times before the fullbring must be recharged.

Technique Description: Spiritual energy is conducted from Fernando's center outward to the area in front of him. He can utilize this energy to propel forward and tackle into things. This technique allows him to break through thick walls of stone and also thin walls of metal. You can consider wood to be nothing but air compared to this technique. When hit by it, the technique should send the opponent falling back. This technique can be used up to 5 times before the fullbring must be recharged.
History:
It only takes one step:
On the first of August 1988, a mother nine-months pregnant was found injured in an ally way of New York City near a subway station. Her right arm was heavily scarred along with a large cut on her chest. When the paramedics recovered her they preformed an emergency surgery to remove the baby from her body. The process was successful in removing the child but the mother died because of blood loss coupled with an allergic reaction to medication. The father appeared after the surgery to receive the news as well as child. A police investigation concluded that an animal attacked the mother although its species wasn't apparent. The mother was buried three days later and the child was introduced to his five sisters and much older brother.
The child grew very quickly as he gained a lot of weight very early in his life. He appeared to be even a year older than his actual age and often was considered very immature because of this. In early school he didn't listen very often, got into lots of trouble, and was sure to leave messes wherever he went. In middle school he was tall but weighed a lot, scaling toward extreme obesity. He was bullied often because of his weight and many other kids called him a pig. His one true escape in middle school was video games. It was a pain for him to play them because his fingers were usually pressing several buttons at once. That didn't stop him from trying. And eventually he trained his fingers not to break everything he touched. Unfortunately many a Gameboy has died in glorious battle against Fernando's grip.
One Step till paradise:
When Fernando became a freshman his body began to change again he took a large leap from 6 foot 4 inches to 7 feet 4 inches within a year. His weight became much more proportional during that time but he still was "pig" to everyone. Instead of avoiding the criticism he instead tried to work out his muscles instead. His weight dropped to 350 lbs and his muscle strength improved. The nickname became rare to hear. Which was an amazing feeling for Fernando. he joined the wresting team but eventually quit because it was too much to worry about. He loved food and he couldn't stand the idea of dropping his weight even more. He tried football but there was too much running for him to even breath. And last he tried basketball. It lasted for all of his junior year but he didn't feel like he was having fun. The structure of high-school sports was too stupid. The fun wasn't there so he just stopped. It didn't keep him from working out though since he had his own set of weights at home.
Paradise in my hand:
During senior year he was offered a scholarship to a university if he could get his grades up. His most difficult subject, math class was all that stood in his way. But it was an unfortunate that he received a D+ on his final exam. He passed the class but the scholarship was lost. Instead of trying to find a normal job, Fernando instead tried looking for something much better suited for his physical attributes. At the recommendation by his older brother he tried boxing. Since then he's been in the ring with his massive boxing gloves.
Hand full of blood:
One day after a match Fernando was sitting in a van with his sisters on their way home. Something hit the side of the vehicle and they crashed in a ditch. No one was hurt but the howling of a monster freaked everyone out. Fernando got out of the vehicle to look for the monster. It vanished but everyone was freaking out. The police arrived eventually and they got the van out of the ditch. They all hitched a bus ride to home but no one wanted to think about travelling for a long while. Fernando's boxing career was cut short when his father died from an animal attack. His sisters freaked out and though something was hunting them. Fernando wasn't scared since he was already a monster in his own right. One a Halloween night he encountered one. It tried to kill him but instead he discovered a new found power. He had the ability to emulate his costume and fight as if her were Emboar. Since then he'd secretly trained his power on many different things. He could make things become more real when he channeled energy from within himself into things. His costume provided useful abilities while everything else seemed be much less reactive.
Bloody stairway:
As time progressed he learned more about the monster he'd killed. They appeared at night and were drawn to him, especially when he used his ability. By the time of his 5th encounter he was prepared to handle anything that came at him. But there was a time in the day when the air became heavy with the smell of rotting eggs and meat. He'd gone outside and seen a large crack open in the sky. From it a large amount of hallows spilled into the area. He tried to hide his family from the hallows but they'd actually fainted due to the presence of so many hallows. He couldn't carry them all out because he had too many siblings so instead he drew the hallows toward him and away from his house. He'd backed up into an ally in order to fight them one on one. Instead they crawled on the walls and jumped on him. But then someone came to the rescue. Whoever it was created a mist around the ally and then took out the hallows in a single sweep of assassinations. Fernando ran out of the mist and found his family had woken up. The hallows were gone and everything was fine.
Stairway without steps:
Whoever saved him made him wonder how many people had the power to fight those monsters. He wanted to meet them and see if anything could be done to stop them from appearing. With his family in danger he had to find out.
RP Sample:
Leaning forward, just above her head, the large man looked down at her as he gently wrapped his forearms over her shoulders. Her body trembled as the blood in her body pumped faster than a churning engine. He cold flesh became warm when she embraced the hug and leaned in on Fernando's chest. Even though he was much taller than her even while sitting down, the large man had no problem with crouching over to comfort her.
"I'll be ok, it'll be ok. Just just go ahead and let it come out." Fernando said. He'd seen her dog hop in front of a car and get run over. The girl saw it happen too but she was far more devastated than him, she didn't say a word but instead spoke through her tears and shaking hands. "He's taking a long nap now." Fernando felt the girl calm down as her body stopped trembling. Her small voice was a squeak but it managed to produce sound.
"How long until he wakes up?"
"He'll rest for a long time. You should let him sleep though. It is not good to disturb him." Fernado felt the young girl push off against him. His arms moved and she got up off the ground. The car that hit the dog pulled over and there was a young women sitting in the driver set. She wasn't crying but she knew what she hit. The drive opened the door and looked back and say the animal. She cursed under her breath then got out. She opened her cell phone then made a call to the police. Fernando looked back toward the young girl but she'd run off, most likely to her parents. Where ever that was there'd be a seen soon.
"Well there goes lunch with David. I'm stuck here to wait for the cops to write a report. God there needs to be a faster way to do this." Sure he'd seen the dog get hit but he idn't want to dwell on that he needed to be somewhere... to eat of course. His stomach rumbled and a swish sound roared from inside. The girl looked up and noticed him finally. She shook her head as she had no idea why a hobo wearing a costume was sitting there looking at a dead animal.
A police car rolled up then the officer got out of the car. She was a stunning women with her black hair in a pony tail. Her body was stocky but her face was clean as there was a minimal amount of makeup on her face. She approached the animal first then went back to her car to get the radio.
"Oh ok it's the hot officer. I can stay to talk. Heh David will just need to save me something until I get there." Fernando got off the ground and waited for the officer to approach. Prior encounters taught him... trained him, not to walk up to them. She eventually got around the the driver and asked her what happened. Their conversation was brief but the driver's licence and insurance exchange took up most of that time. She finally turned toward Fernando. Although her expression was blank she certainly had an opinion for the giant already.
"Are you the owner of this animal?" She asked her voice calm, mellow.
"No, but the owner is a little girl who just ran off. I saw the accident. The dog leaped into the road and got hit by a car."
"Can I get your name?" She asked. The officer approached him but didn't get within five feet. She wasn't going to look up at him.
"Fernando Ignis. I live nearby." he wanted to ask her questions but he already knew police hated answer people.
"Can you describe the owner for me please."
"Short, about to my waist. Short black hair. Big brown eyes. Her shirt was blue with a patch over the shirt pocket that had a bug on it. She was wearing blue jeans and her shoes were red sneakers. I think she went that way but I didn't see which way she went." Fernando checked out the police officer. Even though her jacket covered her chest--
"You can go, kid. If you see the girl's parents tell them a report was made and that they'll need to contact the department." With that the officer turned around and went back to the car.
Did she just call me kid? come on she can't be more than 29... not with that ass. Fernando sighed then started walking toward David's house. I'm not a kid! I'm old enough to be her boy friend. Ah I should have asked her name at least. Gah fuck she's gone. Fernando slouched as he walked. Today wasn't any good.
